Teen Eating Disorders Should Not Be Shamed

Teen eating disorders should not be shamed! Food is an addiction too and whether an eating disorder manifests through restricted eating or overeating, the level of distress that the person experiences is the same. Teens with eating disorders fight a daily battle with food, their bodies and their physical appearance which many people don't seem to understand. The struggle is real and all-consuming so instead of shaming eating disorders, we should develop a compassionate approach to those who are troubled. There is help for youngsters struggling with this illness. Treatment centres like Recovery Direct in Constantia, Cape Town have the tools and expertise to assist teens with eating disorders. https://www.recoverydirect.co.za/

let all men and women donate sanitary pads to the less fortunate girls in their society

I am a firm believer that what's important is not what you've been through but how you respond to life experience's. I can actually think of countless times where I I he encountered girls who use socks and scarfs as sanitary pads.I am not a deceptive person but I aspired myself to help out where I can because a healthy wellbeing is very important to females.

Cause I don't have children at 28 does it mean that i'm baren? or is it a personal choice that i dont want to have kids yet, People complain that other people don't have children yet but when you ask if they'll assist in finance when the child is already there, or don't they ask if they have certain health issues regarding having children?

People with Albinism lives matter

I have been reading a lot about how people living with Albinism are being kidnapped and killed, as a person living with that condition I am scared, not only for my life but for the lives of my fellow brothers and sisters, and generations to come. Being killed to make muti or as a sacrifice because we are thought to be lucky and have magical powers. which is so not the case. We are like any other human person on this earth it's only our skin color that differentiates us. We shouldn't be scared to live our lives because of some ignorant people. We need to do more education about Albinism in our communities and schools, movies and TV shows should stop portraying us as being "special" and having powers because it just reinforces the stereotype. We are human and we matter.

Males seen more superior than females

Growing up girls are made to feel inferior compared to males girls are subjected to certain types of jobs even today in the 21st century this is still happening and why is it that certain things can be done by males but not females like why do we judge females who propose but praise the male When he does and why is it that girls should be ashamed of not being virgins and males are yet again praised girls are made too feel embarrassed about many things but not males they praised for it all and I believe in equality for both genders less judging towards females and more support

Freely Accessible Sanitary Pads

It may sound like a broken record just about how girls need sanitary pads but its actually a record that should be trending. Having to hear a young girl's story while in tears about how she hates "that time of the month" and how she wishes she was not born female; it's heartbreaking!
Girls should be able to continue with their normal lives like being at school and attend social events rather than praying for things that can not change. Girls shouldn't feel ashamed, embarrassed or belittled. Girls should continue to feel empowered and take over the world. we may all reach the mountain top but we should all be granted the opportunity to try, we should have freely accessible pads in ALL public toilets, clinics and schools. let us give girls their dignity back and one less thing to worry about

Sanitary Pads shouldn't be a luxury, A school girl shouldn't have to worry about where she"s going to get her next sanitary pads pack from, they should be offered for free to school girls who cant afford them nationwide. Her focus should be on her education.

Education Equals Empowerment

Guys, I’ve been saying this for a long time. What young people, especially young women, really need is access to good education. All we need is opportunity and access and that is what education opens the path for. The more young women are educated and given opportunities the less we depend on others or seek other means of financial aid.

I’m finishing my matric this year and have started looking at Uni. The fees are SO high! Now that I’m starting university I can appreciate the #feesmust fall campaign. I just wish more was done at that time. The less university fees are, the more we each get an opportunity to attend. And the more we get an opportunity to attend, the better our chances of employment and contributing to the economy.
