How to Create a Journal Post

Journal writing can be fun! It allows you to express your thoughts and maybe even your writing skills. This is why journal writing is allowed right here on the Choma website. You can add a journal entry about anything that’s on your mind, whether it’s a thought, a story, a poem, some inspiration or even just something that you found that you thought would be interesting to share.

If you want to write your first journal entry chomas, here are a few simple steps on how to do it.

Step 1:

Sign up on choma.

Step 2:

Click on the tab that says “Journals”

Step 3:

Click on “Add  Entry”

Step 4:

Now you’re ready to put your thoughts down. Start typing in the box under “Journal Entry Content”.

You can write as much or as little as you like, so don’t feel limited.

Remember to add a title and choose a topic that your journal will fall under. If you can’t find the perfect topic from our list, then choose the one you think is closest to your topic.

If you want to, you can also upload an image that you think will go well with your journal post. To make your journal posts easier for people interested in what you’re writing about to find, then add tags too. Tags are just words that are related to what you’re writing about. For example: If you’re writing about a day out with friends, then you can add tags like friendship, outdoors, fun, girl talk etc.

Once you’re done typing everything out then click submit.

Step 5:

Once your journal post is submitted, click on ‘PROFILE’ at the top of the page. Then click on ‘My Journal’. Here you will see all the journal posts you’ve written and submitted. If you want to add or remove something from your journal post, then simply click ‘edit’. Then when you’re done just click ‘update’. If you no longer want to keep the journal post, click ‘delete’.

Your journal post will be private unless you click ‘publish’.

When you’re ready to make your journal post public, click ‘publish’. However, if you change your mind about your journal post being public, click ‘make private’.

If you choose to make your journal post public for everyone to see, then Choma will have to moderate it (just to make sure there isn’t anything in there that might offend anyone).

And that’s it! Once your post is approved, you can share it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter.

You’re now ready to write your first journal entry!
